Again!!!
If you are anything like me, every year at the dawn of the 1st of Jan, you start scribbling down a whole new list of resolutions to keep for the year ahead. And every year by the middle somewhere, or sooner at times, you lose track of your goals and let go. Sound familiar? That's me with most of my resolutions...
But being in our nature we never give up, at least I know for sure that me, myself have had a bit too many of those resolutions carried on year after year with no determination to fulfill them. A few I did cross last couple of years are, first, get my root canal done- Yup! had it on the list for two freaking years and lived with a hole in my tooth before I could find the courage to visit a dentist, but did it and guess what? I really wasn't scary at all. Another one was to learn to swim, yeah! Did it after living off pools and beaches for 25 years and now I cannot imagine not diving into any water body I spot.
Many though, like, hmm... get over my fear of driving or get rid of the muffin top for good, even eat healthy all the time, do more yoga and similar are a few that have constantly been ignored by me, so much so that at times I wonder why am I not giving up on these, since I sure as hell am not working towards checking them off.
This year, there is all this buzz about the year 2013, and how some people fear number 13 and find it unlucky or get scared of it. There is all this talk and between all that, I have also heard a lot many people say how they will take this year as a challenge and turn the number 13 around or go crazy and be bold (now, that's what I'm talking about!!)
So, I have decided to take the plunge and this year be positive towards my approach, to take it one day, one week and one month at a time and make this a memorable year, also because this will be my last year in my twenties and I will soon be called a 30 something (scary enough) I have decided to get my list done with for good!
So here is my list of resolutions for 2013-
1. work out 200 days at least in the whole year (do-able, right?)
2. work towards being more positive in life (hmm...too much sharing?)
3. brush my dogs teeth more often (I know!)
4. run 1000kms (what am I thinking )
5. color my hair wild and get a crazy hair cut- real crazy (yeah!)
6. be less lazy, watch less TV (read: keep up with my editorial calendar)
7. eat healthy at least 5 days a week (I can do that [rolling eyes])
8. learn to ski
9. learn a new language/ dance
10. work towards my designing career more
I am sure there are a zillion more things I wanna do...but for now I am gonna try and check this list off so I can move forward with a confidence that I am not a quitter and I do not give up.

BFF's
I have BFF's!!! Not what you think, I'm referring to ...my Broad Feet n Fingers. That's what I am calling them from now on "my BFF's".
And after twice spending money on Aldo shoes (around $150) I have finally realised my feet will never feel comfortable in one of them again...ever...never again :(
It's a sad thing as many a times I have come across such cute little affordable numbers, mostly replicas of big brands but alas! my feet are too broad in the front to peacefully settle down inside Aldo shoes for a full day...
Which brings me to next point! As you all know, I have been moving countries for a while now and was always prepared to re discover sizes and shapes according to my body every time I settled in a new country, but never in a million years did I think of my feet!
So, in India and South Africa I knew I had broad feet because once in a while I would try a friend's sandals or compare my feet to S's and so on, but I never faced any problems finding my size or in this case, my shape of shoe...(except for when I would go shopping for running shoes, can never be too careful there)
But since I moved to Canada, not one pair I have bought doesn't hurt, be it heels, flats, any other kind of footwear, they are all simply too narrow at the front.
Makes me think why? And to top it all, the other day I saw a shop, basically payless, they had this whole different section marked for broad toes. Now that to me is just like someone being made to shop from the plus size stores. It hurts!
This is something I will definitely get to the root of but in the meantime, share with me if you have the same problem shopping for shoes. Any other troubles you go through while shoe shopping or are you genetically blessed with a figure perfect toe?

faux pas in fashion blogging
No offense ya’ll… well maybe a little *wink*
I am writing this, putting my own self esteem and pride
behind me, giving an insider’s scoop to the lucky (read ignorant- no offense! I
firmly believe ignorance can be a bliss at times- possibly) internet-ers
untouched by the blogging bug.
As we all know (or you might have heard) blogging,
especially fashion blogging sites in the past 5 years have sprung up like
mushrooms in the rain. The question is how many of them are even worth reading
or following through on a regular basis? Now, believe you me, when I tell you
that I for one am very much a patient of the same bug bitten community and
might remain so for a long time to come. No judgments here, not even pointing a
finger to anyone but if you are a fashion blogger (like moi) and feel offended
by what you have read so far, I would suggest you hop on to another blog right
away.
When I first started blogging (way back in 2008), I was
uncertain of what I wanted my blog to represent, I didn’t know if I was going
the right way and my whole aim in life was to get noticed by a major fashion
establishment and write articles for Mode, Cosmo and you get the hint…
Only recently did I realize that I was only going to write
or document about things I saw (at the mall, my favorite shops or like many not
so financially blessed fashion victims, what I saw on the internet, posted by
other fashion blogs and sites about the latest fashion shows) and somehow mix
it all up while pointing out my likes and dislikes about it.
In the process I have learnt a few things. Mainly that my
wardrobe is not the most branded or expensive, I do not revamp my whole
wardrobe over night as the seasons change and that I certainly do not pose well
for photographs. An evident result of which has been my postings being limited
to sets created on polyvore with the most sincere effort to bring to the common
reader or shopper a list of what to look for when out shopping. Also a mention
every so often of my latest purchases, instances from my daily life that might
depict some form of style or creativity in them and in general of what I look
for and what I feel of the latest runway looks.
Now, with time I have realized that I will possibly be in
the genre of bloggers that do their own little thing without getting too much
attention from the public, the media or the brands but remain true to what they
post on their page. Recently, I realized my site had a static following, my
page views were average and that my blog didn’t seem to click with the wow
factor readers of fashion blogs are looking for. In an effort to research my
problems and find out the answers to the not so much growing popularity of my
blog, I spent hours and days going through blogs and bloggers that seem to have
been a year old or less, maybe at times a couple years old but hold a huge fan
following.
The answers that came out of it rather shocked me with a
sort of (I would like to say aversion) towards the whole fashion blogging
scene.
The stats are such:
If a blog is super famous it’s either: a. very famous
magazine b. a great insider in the world of fashion who actually attends all
the shows and parties and has a brilliant public image c. that of hugely famous
clothing brand d. street style photographers capturing true beauty and style or
bear with me here now…
e. people constantly posting their outfit posts or worst f. people posting about what celebrities wore period.
e. people constantly posting their outfit posts or worst f. people posting about what celebrities wore period.
Now, of course I am a bit jealous of their numbers (meaning page
views, fan following, etc) but category ‘a to d’ are justified in my personal
opinion. On the other hand, I feel category ‘e’ could very well be just an
instagram account, why buy a web site space, why go through the whole pain of
making a blog when you are only to post pictures of what you wore from morning
till night. I do like to see you dressed well but I also feel like you are just
a photo blog and are marketing yourself, sometimes not even your style or
wardrobe, seriously you are not a fashion blogger. A ‘fashion blogger’ will
document fashion, the society evolving
with or around fashion and the impact of fashion on the mass market, the
way couture gets filtered into the budget brands we love to shop…etc…etc… but
hay! That’s what I feel.
As for category ‘f’ it’s probably just fans and stalkers of
that celebrity drooling over your site for hours. Or worst, its young teenagers
who are struggling to fit into a size 0 and believe that the celebrities are
God sent creatures of mermaid kind that look gorgeous effortlessly forever!
Somehow today, people like us, who make an effort to
document global fashion through their eyes get lost in low stats, no comments
and boring write-up? Readers have stopped being ‘readers’ themselves, everybody
wants to see pretty pictures, your personal wardrobe and a fashion show that
you do every morning before leaving for work right outside your neighbors’ pretty wall.
The whole concept of I want to read this fashion blog
because she always has something awesome to say about the latest fashion show,
or because she writes with such passion, or that she does seem to know what she
is talking about is so-very lost.
I have seen people pose in front of camera and mention
things like ‘the lace border dress I am wearing- when it’s evidently a crochet’
or ‘this leather like fabric- dude! It’s called rexine or faux leather’ Oh! My personal
favorite… ‘my sheer, windy looking summer top- honey! Do me a favor and please
call it a georgette blouse’.
People don’t read blogs anymore that give an honest opinion
about something, unless you have yourself all dolled up in front of the camera.
Has it really come to this? Is it really the readers who
have dialed down their intellect or maybe just a wrong set of people are
hitting the internet to go through blogs. Are the genuinely interested ones
getting their daily dose of fashion from somewhere else? Maybe the likes of us
are lost behind style.com and similar sites or perhaps it’s just ‘that time’
now when pretty sells and YouTube and blog are just a means to an end- to get
famous and gather fan following?

I am...
what have I been up to this past week...
For someone who has been invisible from the blogosphere for a week or so, I am not sure I have accomplished enough to pass it on as an excuse, but here we go... I was busy, along with S, doing our second DIY furniture project, built a TV unit. It is midnight blue or deep ocean (as the stain label reads) in color and I love the fact that it actually is the same shade as the new OPI Spiderman inspired nail polish!
I would like to mention here that the initial design idea for the TV unit was all S, but I did the specs(being a true pattern maker, I guess) and I love the outcome. We made it pretty simple box shaped, since mitering the cuts was not an option available, also made a funky shelf on both sides for the thousands of magazines lying around our home.
I was also busy travelling a lot in the metro or the ROCKET(as it is called in here) visiting various Chinese and Thai food joints, yet to try local sushi bars. Other than that I must confess I have kept a low profile, just yesterday I missed the Guess and fashion MAG event due to rain, lack of a car, PMS all included and am now feeling horrible about it.
I have decided I need to organize and clean my house, starting from of course, my kitchen (hmm) and my closet (that means again, throwing away lots of old junk and shopping for more. Which gets me to my next point, I desperately need a job, just so I can shop without feeling guilty :( Also I have been spending a lot more play time with the kids (read dogs) phoebe was down with an upset tummy past couple of weeks, but is now doing great, thanks to the awesome-st Doc we have :D. Oh and I just counted the change in my turtle's neck :P (the wooden piggy bank) it has about 8-9 different currencies in change :) love that we have been to so many different countries and counting..
Also, it has been a crazy week with pouring rains and heavy thunder storms, I have not been as regular to the gym as I pledged to do this month. With one-third of the month over, I have finally started doing light 2 min workouts throughout the day at home, trying to get a hang of the Tracy Anderson workouts (let's see how it goes).
Also, a random picture at the end of S's new laptop bag (well, not so new, like a month old) but I guess I forgot to share, here it is..I love it.
What has been happening in your life lately? Are you busy or just plain lazy like me? Going to IFBcon? not me:( stupid visa troubles... tell me your stories and remember Be yourSelf! Be AweSome!!!

random summer luv
A collage showing all things I am in love with this summer. As evident with my latest blog layout, I take inspiration from the polka dots (rather say I took inspiration from the summer street style and favorite runways, mixed and matched the colors and made the new blog layout- reflects my current mood). I am loving (like I said before) polka dots, beige and all things earth toned- more so desert toned, shades of turq, neon red, a little hint of green and fuchsia. I am a summer child so I love the rains, with rain comes the fabulous world of posh umbrellas, some cute, some lavish but never a plain Jane for me. I love white, takes me to the beach- white nail polish in summers is always an indulgence for me, white sand beaches, white frocks and white marble tables with colorful cocktails lined to be served. The whole Olympic inspired patriotism (as I call it) has me seeing flags and similar colors and I am loving them. Also a big fan of the vintage, this summer has gotten me thinking of music and pianos and fringes on a bob cut with a crisp white shirt and indigo blue denims. Another all time favorite for my summer 'happy endings' is wrap dress and embroidered tunics- currently I am seeing mustard yellow, brown and beige with bold prints and show-stopper wedges. A big fan of the colorful denims, I also worship converse and live inside my day tote. I believe every girl should own a denim jacket and a bunch of colorful bands/ bracelets with a crazy pair of sunglasses for summer.

my latest haircut
So, I know it's been a week, since I got this hair cut (actually 10 days I guess) I have been so busy running around, never got a chance to post the pics, so today after a lazy shower I decided that its time.
Well, here are the pics, I even dropped the hair dryer while at it, hence holding it firmly in the later pics, LOL
It seems not so perfect as it was the day I came from the salon, but the hair dressers always have a million products they use on me and I don't really do that lengthy a process while getting ready. Although, I must say, I used my usual L'oreal ultra shine shampoo in the pink bottle, but just to give it a try got the volume boost conditioner in the mauve/ purple bottle, it does work wonderfully. My thin hair suddenly feels playfully voluminous and much similar to the way they would after a salon visit!!
And, the morning after look, just when I don't seem to have time before getting my dogs out for their walk, I can easily tuck my hair behind my ears and looks ready to go, totally loving how shorter the hair, the more hassle free it is to look groomed :)

Are you a NERD too?
So, what happened today was, I was trying out new layouts for my blog as I think I could do with a fresh look and while looking through the design templates on blogger, my stupid laptop froze, as in hanged totally (not that I blame you entirely dear laptop, I know it’s high time I replaced your batteries and upgraded your RAM) and I, being the impatient drama queen that I am, started randomly pressing the keys to get it back to work. Now, those of you who are on my twitter timeline would know exactly what happened and how I reacted to it, but for all you other folks, here’s the story…
When my laptop got back to its normal functions, I realized that the template I was just trying out got applied to my blog and VOILA! There I was totally panicked. I could not believe that just happened. I had no idea where I had saved my original blogger template and frankly, for a moment or two I wasn’t particularly sure, if I had at all saved it somewhere. The new template would not have freaked me out that much, if my sidebar hadn’t disappeared like extinguished species and if I had a little more patience. Well, moving on, I tried to find the original template online, to reinstall but simply couldn’t, cause it has been over two years since I first downloaded it and simply didn’t remember where from. Okay! Here I was totally lost and felt as though my boyfriend just broke up with me and left me in a mess. Really my blog was a mess (only for about half an hour) and I was busy ranting away my desperation on twitter, calling my husband up at his work and well…almost in tears. Went downstairs, grabbed a cookie, cursed blogger, kind of slapped my laptop screen a little (Shhh!) threw away random stuff from my bed (I am moving countries in 10 days people, my house, my bed everything is crowded, messy and a bit out of order).
Suddenly I realized that I did save my blogger layout- I am in a habit of doing this from time to time, even taking full back up of my blog! Trust me you never know! But I could not find it anywhere because I was looking by the wrong name, now I thought, my blog template was named scrapbook- which of course it isn’t (feels like scrapbook to me, that’s a different story for some other time). Anyway, I finally found the saved template, imagine my relief!
And there it was my old blog layout, just one click away.
It just made me realize how big a nerd I am, because I almost had a heart attack when, for a second there, I thought I will never see my old blog again. I do agree, now that I know I have it safe in my laptop, I am feeling brave and will probably try out new looks for my blog soon, maybe even tonight, but surely after my breathing gets back to normal (I am still palpitating from the shock).
So I simply want to ask you all- is this how a nerd gets a nervous breakdown? Possibly! Like when a gadget breaks or a website goes down or if an online game isn’t going as planned, I guess so. Are you all as possessive and attached to your blogs/ websites or whatever other online world you have created for yourselves? Do you also think about your blog first, when planning a vacation or a long trip? And do you miss your blog too when you can’t reach it at least twice every day?
Is our blog becoming the partner we want for the rest of our lives? Listening to our daily dose of ‘what I like’, ‘what I want’ and more, spending hours online browsing through websites and shopping portals… Is our blog slowly turning us into a computer slave? Are you like me, spending more time with your laptop than reading a book or actually going out? Hmm… tell me what your relationship with your blog/website is like, would love to know more on this thought!

I am what I am...
I want to have a bicycle with a big basket in the front that will always be filled with fresh flowers and then I would roam around town (preferably somewhere in old European towns), all day long, just enjoying life. I love sunny summer colored flowers, especially canary yellow, also purple orchids and all shades of orange. Not so much a red rose girl, nah! I have a fascination with old French doors and windows, sometimes I spend hours on Google just looking at old French houses, perhaps I was a French architect or a French poet in my past life, or so I have myself believe *smiles.
I do sometimes wish I had a huge metal hanging bird cage with a singing canary inside it, but then I realize that I probably will become very sad just looking at the bird in the cage. I like to believe a bird has to fly and that is the end of discussion. Oh! And I have a deep seated love for the comfy love-seats and soft fabric sofas, just give me a book, a café mocha and I am ready to lie down with a bunch of cushions and me. Yeah! I have recently started feeling, I am a very private and solitary person, who cherishes and enjoys her own company. Always thought I was more of a people person, maybe loneliness isn’t so much of a fear but a pleasure I enjoy from time to time. God! I am seriously getting old *says the 28year old! Ha-ha...
I love water! And all things aquatic, just couple of month’s back I got to go snorkeling for the first time and it was majestic! I also feel things feel so much happier with a splash of color. Black and white is romantic after sundown but color me up for a sunny day. I wish there was a fest where everyone would gather and color the Eiffel tower, with a lot of wine and cheese later, would be a lot of fun! And talking of Eiffel tower, so many people are scared of heights, not me, I am shit scared *spare my choice of words* of giant merry-go rounds and steep water slides, hell yeah! Phew! Oh, since I was a kid, I love to make those DIY marble paintings, remember? Pour some fabric paint in a dish filled with water, dip the paper in- out- let it dry and Voila! Love those. And talking of colors, I am an addict for colored sneakers, if it were my way I would own every color available.
I love wall papers and rooms filled with handmade crafty paintings and wall hangings. And one day I want to buy the costliest and dreamiest canopy bed available. Yup, also the biggest, with lots and lots of sheer curtains trailing around in pretty pastels *dreaming already. What can I say; I am a day dreamer, a dream weaver. I am what I am! Be yourself, be awesome!! Have a fabulous weekend. Much love to all. xx

Awkward Much?
Awkward Much? by stylescribbles featuring costume necklaces
Well, I can only write about what I go through on a day to day basis, so here's a little weird post on PMS. Yup! so suffering from it right now, I decided, why not do a little montage on the things that help me get through it every month, might help someone, or give you a good laugh!
So my list begins with a hot cuppa cappuccino with some of my favourite chocolates. (Oh! these days I am in absolute heaven with Lindt dark chocolate with chili, totally!) Some days, I do get mah-j-orr relief just through a tall glass of iced cola or iced tea! (weird, so am I). Love me some great smells, some bling and make up to cheer me up. And yes, headaches do go away with the right bling and sparkles ;). Of course, never are my periods without some yummy cakes and cookies and well I am a fan of berries (or berries in cookies, muffins, cakes and ice cream! shhhh!) So, Awkward Much? love to all my lovelies.xo

I am what I am...
I am what I am... by stylescribbles featuring diamond jewelry
Here's a little Monday morning pep talk from my side to all the readers and also the last post of this month. For all the new people who have joined my site this year, following the series, 'I am what I am' I post an article on my self, my likes/ dislikes and my life. A little bundle of joy to brighten your day and to inspire you to be you.
This week I share a few things I love in life and some habits that have become me along with a few dreams I cherish :-). Smile a lot, it's free, addictive and contagious. Plus when you smile, you work out your face muscles- for those who find it hard to do- it will keep your face glowing- not just a saying but kinda scientific fact there! So let's get back to me here, I love collages, specially picture collages with photos of my family, friends, loved ones. I think if there was a job making collages and earning big bucks- like really just sitting the whole day ans making collages, I would be there. This love of crafty, getting my hands in glue and marker is probably the one that inclines me towards scrap booking too. Now, I haven't ever made a scrap book for real, just on my laptop, the reason being, scrapbooks tend to be heavy and bulky, I move countries more than a normal person shifts houses- who's got the extra bucks to pay for all the excessive luggage. Which gets me to my second point, I am a born traveller, any trip, any size, any number of people ( or dogs, as in my case) I can pack you ass off in no time, if that's what gets you going. I have literally packed and unpacked so many times that maybe I could win the fastest, most efficient and organised packer award. lol! Also, my laptop is my scrapbook, now that I think of it. Many precious memories inside.
I love Halloween and masquerades only for the reason, I love masks, wearing them along with the costumes, all that makeup and the character you become, it's an oldie but goldie- I was in theatre in school, from which I transitioned into costume designing, which lead to a degree in fashion design, that is slowly but surely blossoming into styling and journalism, I am sure! blah blah! YOU get IT!!
Oh, and I love good vintage furniture, and don't even get me started on an armoire, a good old wooden, vintage armoire is all I need to fall in love with you. They remind me of my childhood, and although I currently am squeezing my stuff into a pre fitted plywood cupboard (on a sharing basis with my husband! yup) one day when I do settle down at a place, my armoire will be a sight of it's own. *daydreaming now!! This memory of my childhood, I cling to so bad, is probably the reason for my love of telephone booths and buses. Remember the time we didn't have cellphones? Anyone? Well, that was when I would go to my nearest phone booth, to call my parents, whenever I went on a school/ college trip. And buses are a thing of the past, a memory from the years gone by, travelled so much is buses, that sometimes (trust me) having a car of my own feels like a luxury! Good times!!
I love butterflies, have always loved them, the shapes, colors and the symmetry never fails to surprise me. Oh and I love lipsticks/ lip color, if I could I will wear it all the time, but two reasons for not doing that! Firstly, I cannot stop licking my lips, secondly, my love birds, my biggest fans/ best friends- MY DOGS (what were you thinking) can't stop licking my lips. yeah!!!
One more secret, I have wanted to get a goldfish, in a glass bowl and name her 'PENNY' (my love for 'Big Bang Theory' runs deep) for a long time now, the only thing stopping me from doing so is the amount I travel, can't leave a fish in a kennel, wish I could, and you can't always trust friends/ neighbours to remember to feed on time. Sad, someday though! Well, that's about it for me, considering, I have been typing non-stop from last 40 minutes.
Always remember, you are the lead role of the story of your life, you also direct it and make it your best work possible. So always be true and genuine in your life, your actions and your love. Be Yourself! Be Awesome!!!
Firstly, I cannot stop licking my lips, secondly, my love birds, my biggest fans/ best friends- MY DOGS (what were you thinking) can't stop licking my lips. yeah!!!

welcome 2012
A new beginning for all of us. As every year comes by, it gives us a chance to re-start our lives and live the way we want to. We can make whatever we dream of this year! So, my friend, Dream Big, Aim High, Its your turn to Fly!! Here's a little self composed poem, I thought I should share. Its a melody about positive thinking, a dream of a perfect world, where there's happiness and frolic everywhere. Ofcourse, its filled with my imagination of a beautiful moonlit night. Hope you enjoy it, have a great day and an even better year ahead. much luv.xx
The Crescent Shaped Moon
I saw a smile that lit my core
beneath the glare and bling I store
beneath the heavy grim and slime,
I caught the perfect nursery rhyme...
The skies are filled with purple shine
the trees turn into lemony lime
the earth gets richer by the core,
I hear a song I hear a snore...
I hear a heart sing lullaby
I feel my fingers touch the sky
I jump and hop and smile and cry
I got myself a blast tonight.
A little pixie dust so bright
a puppy jumping out of sight.
A handful ice cream cones and spoon,
I saw the perfect crescent moon!
A canopy of stars divine
fills out the night sky with a rhyme.
The moon looks pretty fit and fine
with all its glory, gloss and shine.
Tiara on his head a little tilted to the left
the magic wand is bright; it lit the sky with fairy light.
The crescent shaped moon stands alone the test of time,
I prayed tonight for little magic and found the perfect nursery rhyme!

To All A Merry Christmas...
...And A Happy New Year!!!
On this joyous Festive season, let me take this opportunity to thank all my followers, friends and everyone who has supported my blog. Be it a twitter re-tweet, useful tips, comments or simply a pageview, every single thing counts and encourages me to do a better job, be true to who I am and simply carry on. There are days when we doubt our capabilities and our decisions and at times we just simply want to give up. It is on such days when you all become my strength and push me forward. Much luv to all! Have a very merry Christmas. Joy to All! xoxo

I am what I am...
Holiday Season is here already, what with all the chaos and family and food. Hope you all remember to eat healthy and stay fit even in these difficult situations. Well, to take your mind off the latest to-do list that you might be struggling with, here's a different list of things I love. Take some time out yourself and ponder over the good stuff, your likes, your passion and your soul. Have a happy snappy day!! much luv.xo
I am…In love with colors. Sometimes I over-do it. Oftentimes I feel blessed not being a total black and white wardrobe. I do like to mix a lot of black to sober down some flashy prints and colors at times though. I particularly love brights when it comes to day to day handbags or accessories. I also am a bright footwear girl, except for the times when I wear black heels…
I am a big sucker for junk jewelry. I am glad to wear anything from a suitcase to an owl, even fork and knife to a lock and key, as long as it comes in pretty patterns and funky styles. Oh and specially big jumbo earrings and big bracelets. I also am very fond of anklets…
Oh and I have a weakness for sparkly shoes:-B yeah! Big time…
And I find huge handbags to be my lifeline. I am the mary poppins of my house. Everything I ever need can be found in my handbags, only if you can find it in time...
Most important things in my handbag (and even my dresser) to be spotted would be my lip gloss, my eyeliner, my perfume and my hair serum… on the go make up kit! I am what I am. Be Yourself! Be Awesome!!

80's ChiLD
proudly 80's by stylescribbles on polyvore.com
I was BORN in 80's.
The last SANE generation! - We are the last generation that learnt to play in the street, we are the first who've played video games, seen cartoons in color and went to amusement parks. - We ... ... were the last to record songs of the radio on cassettes and we are the pioneers of walkmans and chatrooms... ...We Learned how to program the VCR before anyone else, play with the Atari, Su... ...per Nintendo and believed that the Internet would be a free world. - We are the generation of the Thunder Cats, the Transformers, Scooby Doo, Tom And Jerry, Jungle Book, Popeye, G.I. JOE. Traveled in cars without seat belts or air-bags - lived without cell phones. Rode our bicycles down the road without brakes. We nvr had phone but still kept in touch. We did not have Play stations, 99 television stations, flat screens, surround sound, mp3s, iPods, computers and the Internet, ...but nevertheless we had a GREAT Time !!! feel free to share as i did if you belong to the club! I am what I am.
I am what I am. by stylescribbles featuring floral hair accessories
I love long baths, I find them to be extremely relaxing, especially after a hard workout or a long run. Also I love to read a good book or even the latest magazine while in the bath (considering I am a very impatient girl, long baths can be…well a bit too long at times). I love to decorate my bath tub and the bathroom, sometimes maybe, even a little more passionately than my bedroom (weird? Nah!!). The other place I like to relax in is a nice lounger or sofa, someplace comforting and worth cuddling in on a gloomy day.
I love protein bars, particularly the ones with oats and chocolate, they have become my favored breakfast recently (sometimes it’s just a protein shake although I prefer the bars more). Another meal that I can make do with anytime is a nice hot chicken noodle soup with some toasted bread on the side (always a perfect meal to cheer me up, I am kinda low maintenance, strange, considering I am such a foodie, hmm!).
I love jewelry boxes, all kinds from paper-to wooden-to the beautiful crystallized ones, even metal. I absolutely have to own more pairs of fabulous flats than heels, considering they are my best friend all through the day, while on the run. I cannot think of a life without my favorite perfumes in it. Much love. xx

I am what I am...
I am what I am....this week I have realised a few things...a few things I have always known...and there are some that keep evolving into bigger and better opportunities.
...here's a look at the world through my eyes.. I love RAINS but only on a cemented floor! hate the muddy footprints in my house ( or in my case more of the paw prints curtesy my dogs )... I love a STARRY NIGHT..and since I was a kid I have this passion that makes me sit for hours, staring into the night sky... figuring out the different constellations. sadly for me..this time of the year is full of clouds...( perfect weather to cuddle up with a hot cuppa coffee, though )... I loooovvveee ORIGAMY and ORCHIDS ( I would love to learn how to make an orchid in origamy... would end up making thousands in purple and filling up my room...oh and they would be with some silver dust on top! ).. I have this crazy fascination with purple and silver! hmm...
I know for a fact that when I grow old, I want to settle down in a BRICK HOUSE with giant window sills full of flowery plants... love that idea! Oh and....preferably in europe somewhere...HMMM! ( day dreaming now...) I love RAINBOWS!! And even though this is the age of the internet and everything electronic from computers to ipads to e-books...I only love to read books with a HARD COVER. In this regard, I am from the olden-golden era... love to smell my books!! I find, sometimes HALLOWEEN can be the one day, when you can actually be yourself ( at least for some people, I guess! you know how its easier potraying a bitch/ witch when you know that you are one... *wink ) Oh and lastly, I have never seen a snowy christmas.... never been in a country where it snows and never seen a snowfall...hmmm ( that's just sad ) hopefully soon though!! you never know! *smiles.
Anywh0! I am What I am!! Be who you are, regardless of criticisms and/or peer pressure! be yourself! be awesome!!

I am what I am...
I am what I am... by stylescribbles featuring satchel bags
I love baking and surprisingly am exceptionally good at it. I am currently the biggest sucker for the color blocking trend. I love how a denim jeans is such low maintainance and easy everyday outfit. I am a bohemian gypsy at heart. I resemble garfield in my eating and sleeping habits.I love taking photographs. I believe retro never dies. I love a starry nightsky. I am what I am... BE YOURSELF! BE AWESOME!!
