Spring Summer 2012 trends: As seen on the RUNWAY!!!

Lovely whites, cobalt blue and yellow ruled the runway for Vera Wang and Oscar de la Renta. The footwear also did attract attention in both the shows.
Here's a few of my fav. picks...
-shades of blue- mainly cobalt and indigo blue also
-deep mustard and sunny yellows along with a pastel yellow.
-the whites were flowy in georgettes and lace- very fairy like feel to them.
-there was a lot of sheer as a trend seen across the shows
-also athletic chic/ sportswear inspired garments ruled the runway for SS2012.
Other colors spotted were -
-a shade of apple green closer to yellow- was a bright and pretty color that came up for SS2012.
-there were oranges, pinks and aqua tones making there way in between blacks n greys.
